Alpha Keri Lotion, 1 litre
Alpha Keri Lotion is an emollient moisturising lotion which provides
very effective treatment of dry skin. The emollients lubricate and
soften skin and lock in moisture to prevent dryness. Alpha Keri Lotion
also contains moisturises to help increase the moisture content in dry
skin.
Alpha Keri is an oil in water soothing emollient lotion which locks in
moisture and relieves dryness and itching. Alpha Keri Lotion can be
used for relief following the recovery from dermatoses where the skin
is dry, scaly, itchy and lichenified. It is also beneficial for shaving
rashes, after sun exposure and when the skin has been encased in
plaster of Paris.
It is suitable for:
Infants and Babies - relief in atopic eczema, eczematous dermatitis,
nappy rash, millaria, and as a sequel to measles and chickenpox:
Elderly - for naturally occurring dry skin; and Sunburn - beneficial
for relieving sunburn.
Alpha Keri Lotion will soften and smooth dry skin. Its moisturisers
increase the moisture content of the skin, while its emollients
lubricate and soften the skin, and lock in moisture to prevent further
dryness.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATIONS
Apply to the skin as often as needed to soften and smooth dry skin and
relieve itching associated with dry skin. Use particularly after
showering / bathing, after exposure to the sun, water, soap and
detergents, at bedtime or anytime dryness is evident. Use a small
amount. Alpha Keri is a concentrated formula so that a little goes a
long way.
The active ingredients in Alpha Keri Lotion are:
Mineral Oil
& Lanolin Oi
*Mineral oil is an emollient: it gives the skin a feeling of softness
and smoothness by reducing friction and increasing lubrication.
Mineral oil is also a moisturiser: it restricts trans-epidermal water
loss, thus reducing the symptoms of dry skin by helping to maintain
normal moisture content.
*Lanolin oil is a natural replacement for lipids of skin and hair. It
helps retain skin moisture and increases moisture penetration.
