How Should I Use the Omron Ear Thermometer?
The Omron ear thermometer is simple and very fast to use. All you need to do is:
- Replace the lens cover with a fresh one (see below for cleaning notes)
- When the display flashes F or C, insert the lens into the ear, pulling back onb the earlobe gently as you do so
- Listen for the ready beep and wait for the O symbol
- When your Omron ear thermometer flashes the O symbol, push the button again to read the temperature
- Wait until the unit beeps four times
- Remove the probe gently from the ear, and read the temperature.
You can sterilise the Omron ear thermometer lens covers as you would a baby bottle. Wash in warm soapy water, then use a steam or chemical steriliser to remove any residual bacteria.
